Port operations

Foshan Lanshi Port solely owned by Keppel Logistics, is a Grade II national port with all the requisite government bureaus located within the port. With a berth length of 370 m, the port is capable of operating 6 berths and is able to handle barges of 1000 dwt.

• Capable of handling oversized cargo of more than 60 tons
• Capable of handling dangerous cargo and refrigerated cargo
• With a handling capacity of 2 million tons per annum, inclusive of 200,000 TEUs

Container Management

Lanshi Port owns one of the largest container yards in Foshan. This container yard also boasts one of the most complete set of services in Foshan, such as container storage, loading and unloading, stuffing and unstuffing, fumigation, container repair and reefer services.

Warehousing Services

Keppel Logistics owns a total area of 40,000 square meters of warehousing space, including a bonded warehouse in its port premises. The warehouse services provided include picking & packing, blocking & bracing, labeling and inventory management, etc.

The Public Bonded Warehouse of Lanshi Port is the only bonded warehouse facility located within the port area in Foshan, which allows imports to be first stored in the bonded warehouse and Customs declarations to be proceeded only when the goods are being taken out from the warehouse. Besides, imports to be re-exported after procession can be first registered for tariff guarantee in the Customs and then be cancelled the registration when being exported. Trucking Services

Lanshi Port has the capability to mobilize a fleet of 100 prime movers. “Door to door” transportation service of various kinds of cargo is also provided.

Customs and Inspection Declaration

The Customs, together with the Frontier Inspection Bureau, Entry – Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau, Bureau of Maritime Affairs and Port Administration Commission, are all housed in one location at Lanshi Port to offer a “one-stop” inspection and permit processing services. Moreover, KLF has professional Customs declaration department, providing one-stop services for customers, including Customs declaration, inspection, tax-payments and Customs clearance.

Shipping Agency Services

We are the shipping agent for Guangdong Sinotrans Foshan Marine Shipping, and manage a fleet of its barges, ranging from 300 dwt to 1000 dwt. In addition, we are authorized to be the shipping agent for other shipping companies. Our shipping agency activities mainly cover the following:
