Completion and Launch of Nanhai Distribution Center

Nanhai Distribution Center (NHDC) in which KLF invested RMB 120,000,000 has been completed and launched. On 19 July, a simple yet solemn ceremony was held to celebrate the operation of this new distribution center of KLF. NHDC takes up approximately 67,000 sqm with 40,000 sqm warehouse, located in Luocun, Nanhai district, next to Chancheng district, 20 miles away from Guangzhou.

NHDC is equipped with various advanced equipment, including 20,000 sqm tall warehouse with VNA racks of 12 meters, providing enough room for more than 30,000 pallets. 10 imported LINDE VNA forklifts would be put into use. In addition, information system would be adopted so that all VNA forklifts would be directed and monitored by computers.

On 29 July, a forklift handover ceremony was jointly held by KLF and LINDE. LINDE handed over 33 VNA forklifts, electric counterbalanced forklifts and a batch of pallet trucks to KLF. These forklifts not only satisfy the needs of use of NHDC, but also increase logistics turnover efficiency, which made KLF more competitive to stand out in logistics industry.

From the perspective of safety, NHDC is equipped with progressive surveillance and entrance guard system that can keep a close eye on the real-time situation within warehouse. Moreover, fire fighting system is also connected with 119 remote monitoring system to keep the negative effect of conflagration to a minimum.

All these equipment will largely increase operational efficiency, accurateness and safety. With the introduction of advanced logistics management and experience of Singaporean part, NHDC can better provide value-added service to our customers. KLF aims to provide one-stop logistics service and discover more business chance from supply chain management.

The establishment of NHDC marks a key step of business expansion of KLF’s third party logistics, having a profound effect on future development of KLF. KLF is working hard at building the biggest logistics base in Foshan. To achieve this goal, KLF places much emphasis on third party logistics which can elevate KLF’s status and market share in logistics industry.
